Although the 4 Sarnia Kennel Club shows were held in Mooretown, about a 1/2 hour to 45 minutes from the city of Sarnia, my hotel (a Super 8) was in Sarnia and happily, direcly across from a McDonalds.  Behind the McDonalds was the ship channel which ran parallel to the Mooretown showsite.  On my way into the show one morning, I stopped at a little park and snapped this picture of a park sign with the waterway behind it.  The ship channel is the St. Clair River.

I hope you can see part of the pretty little park and the size of the river behind the sign.  That was a lovely sunny day; it would be warm for the dogs, but really was glorious weather.
